We are excited to announce a new program for kids to enjoy and connect under the rich traditions of Armenian culture!

Join us for Armenian Dance Lessons with Marine Mkhitaryan

• Ages: 5 and up

• Location: Church Hall

About the Instructor:

We are thrilled to welcome Marine Mkhitaryan, a distinguished Armenian dance instructor, to our church community. With decades of experience, Marine has performed with the State Dance Ensemble of Armenia and taught at renowned schools, including Eurnekian School and Etchmiadzin N4. A graduate of the Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University’s Dance Art program, she brings passion, expertise, and innovative teaching methods to inspire a love for Armenian song and dance.

This is a wonderful opportunity for kids to learn, have fun, and celebrate Armenian heritage together! Details about day and time will follow soon.

Mark 11:27-33

27 They arrived again in Jerusalem, and while Jesus was walking in the temple courts, the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders came to him. 28 “By what authority are you doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave you authority to do this?”

29 Jesus replied, “I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things. 30 John’s baptism—was it from heaven, or of human origin? Tell me!”

31 They discussed it among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask, ‘Then why didn’t you believe him?’ 32 But if we say, ‘Of human origin’ …” (They feared the people, for everyone held that John really was a prophet.)

33 So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.

2 Corinthians 13:5-13

New International Version

5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you unless, of course, you fail the test? 6 And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test.7 Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong not so that people will see that we have stood the test but so that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed. 8 For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. 9 We are glad whenever we are weak but you are strong; and our prayer is that you may be fully restored. 10 This is why I write these things when I am absent, that when I come I may not have to be harsh in my use of authority the authority the Lord gave me for building you up, not for tearing you down.

²⁷  Նրանք նորից եկան Երուսաղեմ: Երբ Հիսուսը շրջում էր տաճարում, ավագ քահանաները, Օրենքի ուսուցիչներն ու երեցները նրա մոտ եկան ²⁸  ու ասացին. «Ինչ որ անում ես, ի՞նչ իշխանությամբ ես անում: Ո՞վ է քեզ այդպիսի բաներ անելու իրավասություն տվել»: ²⁹  Հիսուսն ասաց նրանց. «Մի հարց տամ ձեզ: Եթե պատասխանեք, ես էլ ձեզ կասեմ, թե ինչ իշխանությամբ եմ անում այդ ամենը: ³⁰  Հովհաննեսը մկրտելու իրավասությունը երկնքի՞ց էր ստացել, թե՞ մարդկանցից: Պատասխանեք»: ³¹  Նրանք սկսեցին իրար հետ խորհրդակցել. «Եթե ասենք՝ երկնքից, կասի՝ «Այդ դեպքում ինչո՞ւ չհավատացիք նրան», ³²  բայց չենք էլ համարձակվի ասել՝ մարդկանցից»: Նրանք վախենում էին ժողովրդից, որովհետև բոլորն ընդունում էին, որ Հովհաննեսն իրոք մարգարե էր: ³³  Ուստի պատասխանեցին Հիսուսին. «Չգիտենք»: Հիսուսն էլ ասաց. «Ես էլ ձե՛զ չեմ ասի, թե ինչ իշխանությամբ եմ անում այդ ամենը»

2 Կորնթացիներ 13:5-13

5  Շարունակ ստուգեք, թե արդյոք հավատի մե՞ջ եք, շարունակ փորձեք ինքներդ ձեզ, որ իմանաք, թե ովքեր եք դուք։ Մի՞թե չեք գիտակցում, որ Հիսուս Քրիստոսը միության մեջ է ձեզ հետ. այլապես դուք հավանության արժանացած չեք։ 6  Հույս ունեմ, որ կիմանաք՝ մենք անհավանության արժանացած չենք։7  Աղոթում ենք Աստծուն, որ դուք ոչ մի սխալ բան չանեք։ Իմ նպատակը այն չէ, որ մենք հավանության արժանացած երևանք, այլ որ դուք ճիշտն անեք, նույնիսկ եթե թվա, թե մենք հավանության չենք արժանացել։ 8  Մենք ոչինչ չենք կարող անել ճշմարտության դեմ, այլ միայն ճշմարտության համար։ 9  Միշտ ուրախանում ենք, երբ դուք ուժեղ եք լինում, նույնիսկ եթե մենք տկար ենք, և աղոթում ենք, որ դուք ուղղվեք։ 10  Ահա թե ինչու այս բաները իմ բացակայության ժամանակ եմ գրում, որպեսզի երբ ներկա լինեմ, խստությամբ չվարվեմ, քանի որ Տերը ինձ իշխանություն տվեց ոչ թե քանդելու, այլ կերտելու -համար։11  Վերջապես, եղբայրնե՛ր, շարունակեք ուրախանալ, ուղղվել, մխիթարվել, միևնույն մտքի լինել, խաղաղությամբ ապրել. և սիրո ու խաղաղության Աստվածը ձեզ հետ կլինի։ 12  Ողջունեք միմյանց սուրբ համբույրով։ 13  Բոլոր սրբերը բարևում են ձեզ։

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

“Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith.” 

(2 Corinthians 5)

St. Paul helps the believer to renew and strengthen the spiritual life restoring it with the right way. He says:  “Your restoration is what we pray for.” We want you to be complete. We want you to be mature. All that we are doing is to bring you to that completion. The completion that St. Paul talks about is possible only by remaining with God. As the Saint reminds us first we should pray for our restoration. 

We need to go back to God, we need to cleanse our body and soul to be worthy children for God which should be done only
through prayer. It is Paul’s desire that these Christians would do right and not do wrong.  It is his fervent prayer that they see himself as true to God and that they will behave in a manner that shows they are true to God. 

The apostle Paul exhorts us to examine ourselves.
Self-examination is important in all areas of life, especially in
spiritual matters. We must examine ourselves to ensure we are truly in the faith, as it is possible to be self-deceived.

We must examine ourselves to gain assurance of our faith, as some Christians lack assurance and joy. We must examine ourselves, not just our beliefs. We must look for signs of life and the fruits of faith.
