Saint Sarkis Church of Santa Clarita Summer Camp Gallery – 2023

At our summer camp, we offer a diverse range of activities focused on enriching participants’ knowledge of the Armenian language and culture. Through engaging lessons and interactive sessions, we teach the Armenian language, allowing campers to improve their speaking, reading, and writing skills. Alongside language learning, we delve into the rich Armenian cultural heritage, exploring traditions, music, dance, and storytelling.

Our camp also provides opportunities for creative expression through arts and crafts activities, where campers can explore their artistic talents and create beautiful pieces. Cooking workshops introduce participants to the flavors and techniques of Armenian cuisine, allowing them to prepare and savor traditional dishes.

Painting sessions further nurture campers’ artistic abilities and provide an outlet for self-expression. Storytelling sessions immerse participants in the captivating world of Armenian folklore, legends, and history, fostering a deeper connection with their cultural roots.

Overall, our summer camp is designed to be an immersive and enjoyable experience, combining language learning, cultural exploration, arts and crafts, cooking, painting, storytelling, and more. It aims to inspire a love for the Armenian language and culture while creating lasting memories and friendships among participants.
